Life can be challenging and unpredictable. Dealing with changing situations seems to be around every corner and has a direct impact on our health and wellness.
I have been coaching for over 15 years mainly in the corporate arena but always holding wellbeing and health at the heart of the work I do.
Over the years I have recognised the need for an integrated model of health which values the importance of creating health on all levels – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. This was really put to the test in 2019 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. This further developed my interest and I am now an advocate of plant-based, nutrient-dense diets and have been practicing veganism for the last 12 months to great effect. I am an enthusiastic exerciser and have recently become a nordic walking instructor! I practice what I preach and I am passionate about helping others achieve a healthy lifestyle!
I blend my long career as a coach with a holistic approach to create an original and effective way to improving your health and wellness. Purple Hat focuses on 4 pillars. To Move, To Nourish (coming soon), To Relax and To Nurture (also coming soon) We approach these pillars with a varied menu of 1-1 and group coaching, virtually and face to face, nordic walking, and health and wellness retreats.

We often hide our feeling of dissatisfaction by collecting bad habits which inevitably cause us stress and imbalance. Age 3: She looks at herself and sees a Queen.
Age 8: She looks at herself and sees Cinderella.
Age 15: She looks at herself and sees an Ugly Sister (Mum I can't go to school looking like this!)
Age 20: She looks at herself and sees "too fat/too thin, too short/too tall, too straight/too curly"- but decides she's going out anyway.
Age 30: She looks at herself and sees "too fat/too thin, too short/too tall, too straight/too curly" - but decides she doesn't have time to fix it, so she's going out anyway.
Age 40: She looks at herself and sees "clean" and goes out anyway.
Age 50: She looks at herself and sees "I am" and goes wherever she wants to go.
Age 60: She looks at herself and reminds herself of all the people who can't even see themselves in the mirror anymore. Goes out and conquers the world.
Age 70: She looks at herself and sees wisdom, laughter and ability, goes out and enjoys life.
Age 80: Doesn't bother to look. Just puts on a purple hat and goes out to have fun with the world.
